Zero tolerance

The NHS operate a zero tolerance policy with regard to violence and abuse and the practice has the right to remove violent / abusive or aggressive patients from the list with immediate effect in order to safeguard practice staff, patients and other persons.

In this situation we will notify the patient in writing or in person of their removal from the list and record in the patient’s medical records the fact of the removal and the circumstances leading to it.

Our practice is extremely vigilant with this type of behaviour for the benefit of other patients and staff, all incidents are reported to the practice manager and discussed with the partners, who as a team will make a decision whether to remove you from our list. In some cases we reserve the right to deduct the whole family.
