Out of Hours Service

Between 18:30 and 08:00, Monday to Friday, and all day at weekends and on bank holidays your call will be redirected to the NHS service (111.nhs.uk).

NHS Direct

You can access urgent assistance by calling NHS Direct on 0845 4647. A triage nurse will assess your situation and take appropriate action.

This could simply be by offering advice or where necessary by making arrangements for you to be seen by a doctor.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute as an emergency.
