All of our patients have an accountable named GP who is responsible for overall care. If you are unsure who this is please ask next time you visit the practice. If you have a preference to which GP that is please contact the practice.


Furzton Medical centre will introduce a new role of a nurse practitioner from April 2016 , if you have a minor illness we would recommend first you speak to your local pharmacy and if required book an appointment with our nurse practitioner there are a number of conditions she is able to prescribe for please check with reception upon booking.

Test results

If you have a test in our practice the G.P will write to you if they wish to see you following your result or advise you to make a follow up appointment .

If you have consented to receiving SMS from the surgery you may also receive your test result indicator by text - Please ensure we have your up to date mobile telephone numbers

Reception can not give you clinical information regarding your result however they can inform you of the G.P's comments which will either be abnormal or normal , if your result is abnormal we will contact you .

If you need to contact us regarding your result you will need to telephone reception between the hours of 3pm - 5pm

If you require clinical information this can be printed by reception at a charge of 40p and can only be printed once the GP has viewed the results
